Released in the middle of Season 5, these have you find items on the map while playing matches by following a series of clues.
Completing each one rewards you with XP - giving you a boost towards completing your Season 5 Battle Pass.
Currently, as of Warzone Season 4, you can no longer complete this activity.
If you’re looking for more help, check out our on-going best Warzone weapons page and the Vanguard Royale meta.
Similar to the previous Fractured Intel, Hunting the Enemy, Hidden Cargo, New Perspectives and The Lost Team locations, each Old Wounds Intel step must be completed in sequence.
You can find it within the Challenges area of the Warzone menu, then tab to the end to find these objectives:
Remember these need to be done in Warzone matches. If you’re struggling to grab certain items because the areas are heavily populated - the Intel locations are the same for everyone, after all - then try landing near the location and give it a few minutes before moving in.
Alternatively, play until you enter the Gulag and use that second match appearance to pay a visit (assuming you win, of course).
Also, you can only complete one Intel per match. So continue playing, purposely lose or simply quit out to start another match and the next objective.
To complete this, and all other Intel locations below, you need to the Prison - the named location in the south-east corner of the map.
Here, make your way into the underground section of the structure. You can do this by going over the bridge into the entrance, then taking one of the staircases to the side. Go through the door below, then straight ahead to the cells area.
On the upper-most level of the prison underground is an office in the centre.
On the desk you’ll find the Intel location.
To complete this, return to the underground section of the Prison. If you go down from the office where you found the first Intel, there is a series of cells on the outside ring.
There are multiple floors of these cells. You need to head to the second ring of cells down from the very top. From here, enter the south-most cell, and investigate the radiator to find the Intel location.
To complete this, you need to head to the showers area of the prison. This is underground and to the west. If you head down two levels (the same as where you found the previous Intel) then go through the doors, you’ll be on a walkway above.
Alternatively, there is an open window on the west side of the Prison you can parachute through to arrive here, which is much quicker - though you need to time it right.
However you get there, you need to stay on the walkway above the showers area, there there are various bathrooms dotted around the corridors. Head to the one in the north-west corner, where the Intel will be found at the toilet.
To complete this, you have to land on top of the Prison’s very north side, above the entrance of the bridge, where there’s a building.
It’s easiest to land here from parachuting, though you can climb up to the outside walkway from the centre by taking the various outside staircases.
From here there’s a walkway, taking you inside. Within there’s a room straight ahead with a desk, where you’ll find the Intel location.
To complete this final step, head back into the underground segment of the Prison, to the levels with the rings of cells.
Head to the top level and search the side of the south-most cell for the Intel.
With that done, the Old Wounds Intel is complete. There is one final clue hinting at further story, saying “Something was stashed in the denied area…”.
Hope you enjoyed the storyline and the XP which comes with it! Next on the list is the Sins of the Father Intel locations.
